Daily Food Plan
v Following food materials can be taken in any (amount of) quantity.
ü Milk (250 ml. that is, half (½) a bottle or one and a half (1 ½) cup). You should take only this much/quantity during the day; do not take any extra milk to put into the tea or coffee.
ü Butter, Ghee, oil or fresh cream (malai) – two to three small spoons a day (some experts suggest to totally stop the use of Ghee – oil.
ü 3 to 4 plain rotis (without using oil or Ghee) or 3 to 4 slices of bakery bread, 3 to 4 plain Khakhra (a very thin preparation of wheat/grain in roti-like shape, or 1 to 2 ounce (half to one bowl) rice or Khichdi (a rice-like preparation of rice and pulse like green-gram, pigeon pea.
ü During the day, a small bowl of thinly prepared Dal (made out of pulse) or Osaman (remnant water/liquid essence) of green-gram.
ü One or two small size potatoes in a day.
v The food-materials those are to be avoided/restricted include the following:
Ø Biscuits, cake, ice-cream, sugar, chocolate-peppermint, sweets, jam, honey, fruit-juices, alcohol, pulses and grains other than mentioned above.
